Under Troy Pickard’s leadership Council has delivered several major capital projects to improve the City’s appearance and condition of City buildings.

• Building of a 50m outdoor pool and water playground at Craigie Leisure Centre ($7.6 mil)
• Upgrading West Coast Drive streetscape and dual use path ($3.3 mil)
• Increased Major Building Works Program budget from $1.8 mil in ‘06/’07 to $10.8 mil in ‘09/’10
• Built a new city depot in Craigie ($6.2 mil)
• Refurbishment of the Craigie Leisure Centre ($10.1 mil)
