- Installed 14 CCTV cameras in the city centre and purchased five covert cameras
- A four-fold increase in funding to erase graffiti
- Implemented many traffic management schemes to improve car and pedestrian safety
- Established a Community Safety and Crime Prevention Advisory Committee
