Under Troy Pickard’s leadership Council has:

• Held regular community forums and broadcasts Council meetings live
• Improved communication with all resident and ratepayer associations
• Adopted a Public Participation Policy to involve the community in Council decision-making
• Established a Freeman of the City Policy to honour exceptional individuals
