Under Troy Pickard’s leadership Council has:

• Given extra money to the Joondalup Community Arts Association to run Blend-er Gallery
• Commemorated the Battle of Coral Sea and Remembrance Day, along with Anzac Day
• Continued support for performing arts events including Valentine's Day Concert, Joondalup Festival, Summer Concert Series, Sunday Serenades Concert Series, Joondalup Eisteddfod, Little Feet Festival and Civic events including the Joondalup Community Art Award, Invitation Art Award, NAIDOC Week and Mayoral Prayer Breakfast
